Hi, I'm Lindsay
"I see therapy as a meaningful space where people can be acknowledged, work towards their individual goals, make sense of their experiences, and reconnect with parts of themselves that have been unnoticed or feel overwhelming. In that kind of space, people can build emotional stability, deepen self-understanding, and move toward a life that feels more aligned and authentic."
My Counseling Story
I’m an intern therapist who works with pregnant and parenting people, children, teens, adults, couples, and individuals navigating substance use disorders, supporting individuals and families through a wide range of life experiences and transitions. My approach integrates CBT, DBT, nervous system focused work, narrative therapy, mindfulness-based work, nature-based therapeutic skills, strengths-based approaches and Internal Family Systems to help clients understand their inner self with compassion, clarity and curiosity.
My interest in therapy began early. As a child, I was drawn to understanding people’s thoughts, behaviors, interactions, and intentions. After completing my undergraduate degree, I worked in community mental health with children and their families, where I deepened my understanding of family dynamics and relational patterns. I later transitioned to working with the perinatal population, supporting pregnant and parenting people as well as individuals navigating grief and loss, work that strengthened my appreciation for the complexity and resilience within these experiences.
I also have experience in an intensive outpatient (IOP) setting, where I supported clients working through complex emotional, relational, and behavioral challenges. This role strengthened my skill in maintaining a balanced, compassionate therapeutic environment for people moving through demanding or overwhelming periods of life and strengthened my techniques in trauma informed practice.
As I continue working toward my MSW, I’m committed to offering a therapeutic space where people can feel fully recognized and explore their experiences without judgment. I believe therapy is valuable because it provides a steady, attuned environment where insight can emerge, old patterns can soften, and people can reconnect with parts of themselves that have been overwhelmed or overlooked.
My hope is to support clients in building emotional stability, selftrust, and connections so they can move through life feeling more grounded, aligned, and restored. Beyond my role as a therapist, my family and I enjoy traveling, skiing, snowboarding, and hiking together, and we live on a small flower farm where we grow unique fruits, vegetables, and flowers for our community.
