Hi, I'm Mindy

"I believe therapy has the potential to provide the opportunity to reflect, grow, and heal. In the context of the therapeutic relationship, self-discovery can lead to living a life of intentional design."

My Counseling Story

My journey to becoming a counselor has been a long and winding road. I have always loved to learn, grow, and create. My education followed my passions, beginning as an art student at Maine College of Art and eventually leading me to the counseling program at Lesley University, where I studied Art Therapy, Holistic Psychology, and Mindfulness. Throughout my life, I have found mentors who supported my growth. Without those people, my life could have taken many different directions. I became a counselor hoping to hold that same space for others.

Life has moments ranging from joyous to traumatic and everything in between. How we process and make sense of our experiences impacts our thoughts, emotions, and ability to assert ourselves in the world. In therapy, a relationship develops that gives people space to realize their authenticity, discover innate strengths, and gain insight to support new choices.

I work with adults interested in self-growth, increasing awareness, processing emotions, and making meaningful changes. My practice includes helping clients navigate various life transitions, learn coping skills, and improve relationships. I support couples in strengthening their connection and building effective communication skills. Together, we work toward finding mutually satisfying solutions that enhance the overall well-being of the partnership.
