Hi, I'm Naomi

"Therapy offers something many people rarely experience in their everyday lives: a space to be fully seen, heard, and understood without judgment. It creates an opportunity to slow down, reconnect with yourself, and explore the parts of your story and self that may have been ignored, silenced, or misunderstood for far too long. I believe therapy can be both deeply healing and deeply empowering because it allows people to make sense of their experiences, strengthen their relationship with themselves, and move toward a life that feels more authentic, connected, and aligned."

My Counseling Story

I was drawn to therapy through a longstanding passion for understanding people, relationships, and the ways our experiences shape how we see ourselves and how we move through the world. In my early career I had the honor of working with individuals who experience challenges with alcohol and other substances.

As I continued my work and worked towards my MA in Clinical Mental Health I became especially drawn to trauma-informed and holistic approaches that honor both the mind and body in the healing process. I value helping clients understand that many struggles are not signs of failure, but understandable responses to painful experiences, chronic stress, relational wounds, or environments where they may not have felt fully seen or supported.

After completing my Masters and about a year working in another counseling space, I knew that I wanted a space that held similar values about the healing process and therapeutic relationship. That is how I so fortunately ended up at Ebbs and Flows Counseling.
